Sacramento, CA — Today, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) announced the formation of the Select Committee on Poverty and Economic Inclusion. The select committee will be chaired by Assemblymember Isaac Bryan (D-Baldwin Hills), who also chairs the Assembly's Elections Committee.

Sacramento – On Monday, Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan (D-Los Angeles) was appointed by Speaker Anthony Rendon as the Chair of the Committee on Elections.
Oakland, CA – On Tuesday, September 28th, Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a suite of legislation directly addressing the affordable housing crisis in California, including AB 1043 (Bryan). This bill recognizes the critical housing needs of families who are Acutely Low Income.
