Sacramento—A proposed constitutional amendment to restore voting rights to all California citizens who are currently completing prison sentences, passed the Assembly Committee on Elections today. The proposed amendment, ACA 4, authored by Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan (D-55, Los Angeles), will be placed on the November ballot for approval by all current California voters.

Assemblymember Bryan to Chair New Select Committee

Sacramento, CA — Today, Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) announced the formation of the Select Committee on Poverty and Economic Inclusion. The select committee will be chaired by Assemblymember Isaac Bryan (D-Baldwin Hills), who also chairs the Assembly's Elections Committee.

Sacramento – On Monday, Assemblymember Isaac G. Bryan (D-Los Angeles) was appointed by Speaker Anthony Rendon as the Chair of the Committee on Elections.

Oakland, CA – On Tuesday, September 28th, Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a suite of legislation directly addressing the affordable housing crisis in California, including AB 1043 (Bryan). This bill recognizes the critical housing needs of families who are Acutely Low Income.

(Sacramento) Isaac Bryan (D-Baldwin Hills) took the oath of office to serve as the Assemblymember for the 54th Assembly District following a special election. Bryan was sworn in by Speaker Anthony Rendon in a ceremony at the California State Capitol.
